How many sittings does a realism piece take?

A palm-sized portrait usually fits into one four to six hour sitting. An upper arm panel is normally two. Sleeves and large collage work run to four or five sittings, spaced far enough apart for the previous section to heal.

Can you tattoo a portrait from a phone photo?

Accepted Answer

Often, yes — but the photograph decides the tattoo. A sharp, well-lit image with clear shadows gives a far better result than a bright, flat one. Send whatever you have at consultation and you will get an honest answer before anything is booked.
